How do you pronounce Ambigo?
Ambigo = AM-be-go - Where your AMBItions GO places!
Who is it for?
Everyone! Ambigo is welcoming, inspiring and fun for people of all backgrounds, ages etc. You'll fit right in as long as you bring your generosity, sense of playfulness and fun.
Who is it not for?
We don't want you to feel pestered or hassled so we don't welcome people whose main aim is to sell their services to you and make themselves money.
How much does it cost?
There is no fixed charge for our community events. We want to make sure they're accessible to ALL so they run on a Pay What You Can basis meaning you only pay whatever you can afford with no pressure and no guilt.
What kind of ambitions are we talking about?
It can be ANYTHING at all that leads you to greater personal fulfilment. Ambigo is full of people with ambitions like:
• Find out how to grow food in the Calais refugee camp
• Start a career in events management
• Be more courageous
• Start my own Indian massage business
• Release an album
But I won't know anybody...
Most people at our open-to-all events come on their own as well. It's a very friendly atmosphere. We go out of our way to make sure you feel at home.
What Ambigo is not:
*An event featuring motivational speakers and workshops.
*Focused only on careers. It's open to any ambitions that lead you to greater personal fulfilment.
This is amazing, but I don't have time to get involved in other people's projects...
Don't worry. There is no expectation of you to make any commitment to anybody. The support you give to someone doesn't have to be anything beyond a post-it note with a useful bit of info on it and maybe a quick chat on the day. That alone often proves very valuable to the other person.
Will there be people trying to sell me things?
No way! Ambigo events are not for people to come along and promote their services. It's for the community to come together to support each other's ambitions.
I don't have an ambition in mind, but would like to help others. Can I come?
Please do! Your positive energy and knowledge could have a really positive impact.
Sounds great, but maybe I'm too old/young/different...
These events are for EVERYONE. We passionately tell you that we embrace diversity. And, if you're differently-abled, please let us know how we might adapt to make the event accessible to you.
