~ WHAT KIND OF AMBITIONS ARE WE TALKING ABOUT? ~
It can be ANYTHING. Anything at all that leads you to greater personal fulfilment. Ambigo is full of people with ambitions like:
• Find out how to grow food in Calais’s refugee camp
• Start a career in events management
• Be more courageous
• Start my own Indian massage business
• Release an album
~ THIS IS AMAZING, BUT I DON'T HAVE TIME TO GET INVOLVED IN OTHER PEOPLE'S PROJECTS ~
Don't worry. There is no expectation of you to make any commitment to anybody. The support you give to someone doesn't have to be anything beyond a post-it note with a useful bit of info on it and maybe a quick chat on the day. That alone often proves very valuable to that person.
~ WILL THERE BE PEOPLE TRYING TO SELL ME THINGS? ~
No way! Ambigo events are not for people to come along and promote their services. It's for the community to come together to support each other's ambitions.
~ I DON'T HAVE AN AMBITION IN MIND, BUT WOULD LIKE TO HELP OTHERS ~
Brilliant! Come along! Your positive energy and knowledge could have a really positive impact.
~ SOUNDS GREAT, BUT MAYBE I'M TOO OLD/YOUNG/DIFFERENT ~
These events are open to EVERYONE. We passionately tell you that we embrace diversity. And, if you're differently-abled, please let us know how we might adapt to make the event accessible to you.
~ HOW DO YOU SAY AMBIGO AND WHAT DOES IT MEAN? ~
AM-be-go. It's where our AMBItions GO places! Ambi+go = Ambigo :-)
